David Biddulph received his MBA from the University of Michigan in 1968 and spent 2 years at the National Bank of Detroit as a branch banking systems manager and 8 years as a common stock analyst and pension portfolio manager achieving the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
On a “coin flip” he and his wife Susie, moved from Michigan to Florida in 1978 to open a solar company. Using an Apple 2e, they compiled 40,000 new swimming pool permits over 6 years and mailed offers for free solar pool heating estimates becoming the largest solar installer in 6 Central Florida Counties.
In 1984, they opened Market Force Corporation (MFC) in their bedroom to compile pre-intent targeting data on 1,000+ new Central Florida businesses opening a month from public records. MFC’s first two national customers, American Express and Deluxe are clients today of 4,000,000+ new businesses opening in the US.
In 2020, MFC pioneered a proprietary process of cloud-compiling pre-intent new business owner data in real-time. The first multi-media regional internet provider to test this data achieved a response rate lift of 75% and a continuation lift of over 100%.
David’s interest in the power of machine learning to target the right message to the right person at the right time began in the mid 1980’s with the U.S. military’s use of the technology to improve national security. This interest, combined with the recent rise of AI, the introduction of ChatGPT, and a chance meeting with Dr. Terry Jansen at a live-music venue in Margaritaville led to the co-founding of AI for ROI LLC to revolutionizing real-time, AI-optimized omnichannel advertising. Their focus is on targeting high-value pre-intent prospects with personalized AI-driven offers to maximize lifetime returns on advertising investments.
In addition to his professional endeavors, David is an active citizen advocate, working on behalf of his two granddaughters. He has provided leadership for three Florida Citizen Initiative Amendments: “Save Our Homes,” “Two-Thirds Vote for New Taxes and Fees,” and the effort to eliminate the “single-subject” limitation for citizen initiatives. Additionally, he co-founded the Balanced Budget Amendment Task Force (2010–2017) and the Federal Fiscal Sustainability Foundation (2020–present).
